Recent Projects

  • Tai Tarian

    In 2022 Joyner Group were awarded the Green Voids Contract by Tai Tarian, as part of the Optimised Retrofit Programme which will see more than 1724 homes in Wales made more energy efficient in a bid to become Net Zero by 2030.

  • Bromford Housing

    Joyner Group were appointed by Bromford to undertake a £7 million external refurbishment contract to properties around South Gloucestershire. The contract started in October 2021 and will be completed in April 2024. The contract was for major works to 250 properties and re-decoration works to 270 properties. The major works consisted of asbestos removal, existing walls being demolished and removed, concrete repairs, re-roofed, new fascia soffit and rainwater goods, new blockwork walls and then a Wetherby external wall insulation with either a silicone topcoat, dash, or brick slip finish.

  • Sunnybank Properties

    MVH was established in 2009 when tenants voted to transfer their homes to a new non-profit organization, and we changed to become our Mutual in May 2016. Now, MVH owns and manages homes across the borough.

  • Port Talbot Properties

    In 2019 Joyner Group were awarded a 4 Year Fabric Framework by Tai Tarian, one of the largest social landlords in Wales and have responsibility for over 9,000 properties across the Neath Port Talbot County Borough.

  • Aberdare Properties

    In 2021 Trivallis appointed Joyner Group to complete works in the Rhondda Cynon Taff area. 39 properties were in Brookfield Road, Maerdy and 55 number properties in Dan y Rhiw, Aberdare.

  • Trefechan Shops with First Floor Maisonettes

    Joyner Group were appointed by Merthyr Valley Homes as main contractor to refurbish the external of the Trefechan Shops. The works included 110mm Rockwool insulation with a weather proof acrylic top coat to maisonettes as well as refurbishment to the shop fronts below and removal of the concrete canopy.

  • Gurnos Estate – Merthyr Tydfil

    Providing External Wall insulation, Roofing, Rain Screen Cladding

    The Company was successful with two tenders and appointed as principal contractor to complete works to 72 houses on lot 1 and 68 houses on lot 2 at the Gurnos estate, Merthyr Tydfil. Whilst completing these works we were also issued with a variation order to complete three blocks of 4 storey flats.

  • VALLEYS 2 COAST – Maesteg

    We were appointed as specialist contractor to apply the EWI system for the project at Oakwood in Maesteg. The project was funded through the Welsh Assembly, Arbed Scheme, Valleys 2 Coast Housing, CESP and CERT. We were appointed as the main contractor to complete the first phase of the properties.

  • St Tydfils, Caedraw Flats Refurbishment

    Joyner Group were appointed by Merthyr Valley Homes as main contractor to refurbish all floors of Caedraw Flats. The works included new suspended ceilings, new fire door and painting throughout lobby areas and communal walkways. This has drastically improved the durability and aesthetics giving a sense of pride to the tenants.

  • Tai Calon Community Housing

    We were appointed as specialist contractor to apply external wall insulation (EWI) to a large number of properties (500) in Blaenau Gwent, South East Wales. The local area was in need of a revamp and Joyners were appointed to deliver the works.

  • Cheltenham Borough Homes

    Joyners were awarded a 5-year roofing contract with Cheltenham Borough Homes in April 2019. The contract is valued at approx. £750K per year and delivered under a JCT contract.

Joyner Group, as leaders in the retrofit and decarbonisation sector undertaking projects to PAS 2030/35 standards, has a partnership approach that is implemented and driven throughout all its work opportunities. As a company we have found that this ethos works from the ground up, with the aim of involving all active parties, including clients, material suppliers and sub-contractors. Initially establishing an effective and efficient communications method with both our Supply Chain and clients ensures continuity of quality, rapid response times and effective identification of any issues, ensuring rapid clarification and effective resolution.
